I am really interested in optical illusions, and wanted to make a 3D version of Herings illusion, which he discovered 1861. The original depends on black parallel vertical lines which appear to bend outwards opposite the point where the angled lines converge.
Needless to say the effect is minimal in 3D but it is still an interesting piece! Look out for a development around this idea in the future. White float frame.
